Shirley Jean McAdams

"My mom was the mother of nine children. She was courageous, stern, hard worker, honest, loyal, a disciplinarian, funny, but no nonsense Woman of God. She kept a very good home for her family, she raised her children, grandchildren, and some great-grandchildren, always wanted the best for her family.

Tony, my son, was her first grandchild. They had a very special relationship. Mom said that God showed him to her before he was born. I didn't know, but she did. One day he was presented
to her in a blue outfit, which was the outfit and color that God let her see Mom was a very caring individual. It meant a lot to see her family succeed and hurt her when they didn't. Mom became ill a few years ago.

That old "c" word. It was a year before she had said anything to the family. She proceeded to have surgery, then radiation, and chemo. I took care of my mother until the end. Even in that she was
strong, telling me to stop crying, we all are going to deal with something. She was a praying woman all of my life. Her eldest son was born on March 30th. To God be the glory: she left this earth March 30th, 2019 telling me to hold on. My mom, a very courageous woman even til the end.

Our loss is Heaven's gain. My mom, my jewel, a precious stone."
